Why dark rye flour? Our dark rye flour is precisely milled but, staying true to its wholegrain nature, we keep both the bran and germ (they're best friends).

As a result you get a robust, hearty flour that's perfect for your creations, whether savoury or sweet.

Rye is one of the most important cereals. Among other things it's a source of fibre and has a lower gluten content than wheat. Rye grass can even put a roof over your head as it's also used for thatching.
